Welcome to 6C!

Shwmae? Welcome to 6C.

We are a fantastic, respectful, polite and very happy class and this term our theme is 'Cynefin'. If you have any useful resources the children are very welcome to bring them into school.

This year, we'll be sharing the majority of our information and activities via Google Classrooms. To find out more about how to use Google Classrooms, read the information uploaded under the 'Google Classrooms' heading.

In our classroom, we believe in building a space where everyone feels safe, valued and inspired. Year 6 pupils chose these values for our classroom this year:

Respect means listening to others, treating everyone with kindness and taking care of our environment.

Fairness means sharing opportunities, playing by the rules and making sure every voice is heard.

Positivity means encouraging one another, looking on the bright side and believing in our ability to improve.

Empathy means thinking: “How would I feel if that happened to me?” Saying: “I’m here for you” or “That must have been really hard.” Doing: Offering help or comfort.

Safety. When children feel safe, they’re more likely to take risks in learning, build friendships, and grow into confident, compassionate individuals.
