Welcome to 2E. We would describe ourselves as a kind and cheerful class
About the class
We share two teachers throughout the week. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday we have Mrs Broadley then on Thursday and Friday we have Miss Maddern. Our teaching assistants are Mrs Thole, Mrs Wade and Mrs Ashman.
We are a very unusual class because there are four year groups (Years 3, 4, 5 and 6) in one class. This is a benefit especially for the younger children as they can see the hard work the year 6 children do, also they have the advantage of having years 5 and 6 to help them if needed. Although it can be a disadvantage when your siblings arrive in the same class!
We are a very hard-working class. We watch BBC Newsround at the end of each day so we know what's going on in the World and we can learn about other countries and what’s happening to our planet.
This half term we have been learning about coal and the Welsh mining industry. For Black History Month we wrote a biography about Betty Campbell and a comic strip on the life of a famous person either Shirley Bassey, Colin Jackson, Suzanne Packer or Rungano Nyoni. In science we have been learning about local habitats.
